The CISDigital®-based full steel process Smart Factory has been recognised for its innovation.

It was named ‘an outstanding case study’ for the most innovative applications of smart tech at the World Intelligence Expo 2024 held in China’s Tianjin.

A total of 990 case studies were gathered from the top 500 enterprises, colleges and institutions in China and around the world.

Judged by a panel of provincial industry and information tech experts and academicians, 10 were classed as outstanding, 20 as typical and 30 as emerging cases.

CISDI Information Tech Co was invited to the WIE to showcase CISDigital’s application at Yongfeng Steel Lingang and highlight the industrial internet platform’s unfolding future.

A plant-wide, unified industrial internet platform set up at Lingang encompasses an innovative flat Smart Factory architecture. Data flows from the entire plant and throughout all processes and gathers into the platform.

Data support for the plant’s various APPs assists operators and managers in their decision-making and control. Data values are fully tapped and delivered and digital production management is enabled.

Since going into operation in 2021, the CISDigital application at Lingang has been widely recognised across the sector. It was ranked as a demo of intelligent manufacturing in 2022’s appraisal by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Tech.
