China’s first vertical, open-fire ZnAlMg-coating line discharges coil at Tianjin Xinyu

CISDI has created another important first for China’s steel industry.
Its green sectoral arm, CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co, has built a ZnAlMg-coating line at Xinyu Colour Plate Co in China’s Tianjin.
Coil has now been successfully discharged.
Line 6 will produce 350,000 tonnes of high-performing products a year, which will be used for manufacturing photovoltaic brackets, household appliances and high-end colour feedstocks and building plates.
CISDI Thermal was responsible for all-line designs, core equipment integration and supplies.
Its state-of-the-art tech achieves the following:
• Pretreatment: The combined chemical and electrolytic cleaning features a vertical deep-tank for medium and high-current density electrolysis, resulting in a cleaner plate. Pair brush rolls have a compact structure and a longer service life, also helping to clean the plate.
• Heating: The vertical continuous annealing furnace is designed with direct-fire and radiant-tube heating methods, resulting in a higher heating efficiency and lower energy consumption and costs.
• Post-coating cooling: The patented multi-section mobile and stationary cooling tech effectively protects the product surface against defects.
CISDI Thermal’s ZnAlMg-coating tech is renowned for its total solutions and groundbreaking coating line transformations.
The company supplies over 80 per cent of China’s market and has seen smooth operations at Shougang, Ansteel, Pangang and New Tianjin Steel.
