Date:2023/2/22 Source: CISDI
CISDI is to create a new-era intelligent, low-carbon light sections rolling line for Yongyang Special Steel in China’s Hebei Province.
The line’s design and technological leadership will be taken on by CISDI, along with the supply of all its mechanical, electrical and fluid equipment.
The line will feature an innovative combination of CISDI’s core equipment - an NHCD short-stress path rolling mill, NHUM short-stress path Universal Mill and a UMCD housing Universal Mill.
Carbon structural, weather-proof, low-alloy structural and alloy structural steels will be produced by Yongyang’s new line. The annual production capacity will be 210,000 tonnes.
Its main products will be small specification light rail sections, iron tower angles, channels, ultra-thin H sections, gauge aprons and fish plates.
The line will also produce channels for photovoltaic power generation supports, I-beam formworks and angles for 5G network tower structures.
CISDI has already supplied three rolling lines to Yongyang Special Steel – optimal light rail, heavy rail and SBQ medium and flat bar.
