Early July saw building work begin on a revolutionary new iron ore fine blending system at the Majishan Port of Baowu Jingcheng (Zhoushan) Minerals Tech Co.
The Zhejiang Province project is a Baowu Jingcheng investment and is being built by CISDI to an EPC mode.
CISDI’s ore proportioning and forced blending expertise will create a world first at Majishan Port. The project will result in huge advantages, including lower costs, a small land footprint and a highly flexible blending facility.
The port’s ore blending capabilities will increase by 20 million tonnes a year, setting a leading international example.
Smart, green, optimal and innovative designs will feature throughout, including the following CISDI core technologies:
• ore proportioning plus forced blending
• central scraper feeding plus weighing belt proportioning
• intelligent proportioning
• intelligent measurement.
Multiple flying dust control and clean production facilities will be installed, ensuring environmental requirements are met.
Online automatic sampling, real-time measurement and full-process precise control facilities are designed to produce stable, reliable and optimal blended ores.
